The US president Joe Biden has declared the widely celebrated resurrection Sunday as a transgender day of visibility in America.
Resurrection Sunday is a worldwide celebration by Christians to mark the day our Saviour Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead and has since been declared and observed as a holiday.
However, the 2024 resurrection Sunday, which falls on 31st March, has been declared a transgender holiday in the United States of America.
A widely circulated statement sighted by BBN-NEWS from Whitehouse.gov read in part that, "NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility."
